About Teeter
Darrell Teeter started out in the car business in 1959 with a used car lot to help supplement his income as a pastor of a small church. Teeter says, "somewhere along the way, I acquired the name, Teeter the Cheater, which at first was an embarrassment, but then I decided to take advantage of a name that everyone remembers."
"In 1963 we moved to Little Rock, and soon we had two large locations, one on Broadway in Little Rock and one on East Broadway in North Little Rock."
Teeter moved to Malvern and took the Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge dealership from 1967 to 1974. For a while, they sold customized vans and previously owned cars.
In 1992, they bought the Chevrolet dealership in Malvern, and since then, they have added the Honda dealership in El Dorado.
They also operate large car lots in Malvern and Sheridan, specializing in program cars and clean trade-ins. "These are handpicked cars," Teeter says.
Teeter continues, "We are known for the quality of the cars we sell and the service after the sale."

Teeter has always been involved in various endeavors to help the needy, both locally and in foreign countries. He serves on several mission boards, including Teen Challenge for 28 years, drug rehabilitation program with a 73 percent success rate: Hillcrest Children's Home board: and ICI University Board, one of the strongest arms of evangelism today. The Printed Word goes out in many translations. There are also Internet classes offered worldwide in many languages.
Teeter also participates in feeding the hungry in Calcutta, India, and other locations. The most people fed in one day, according to Teeter, was 15,000.
The Malvern location is where many missionaries find they can get transportation when they are in the States.
"You can't out-give God!" Teeter says.
